The Palace Hotel in Mount Abu, Rajasthan's only hill station was previously known as Bikaner House. The Royal Family of Bikaner used this mansion as their summer residence. It was designed by Sir Swinton Jacob, a renowned architect for Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji of Bikaner. His descendant Maharaja Karni Singhji converted it into a heritage hotel in 1962. The hotel is famous for its spaciousness and scenic location as well as its ambience and royal hospitality.
